We are thrilled to have won a top national award from the Pet Industry Federation.
The Pet Industry Federation is the national trade association for businesses involved in the pet industry, and is the only organization to represent all sectors of that industry. With a combined membership of around 1500 businesses, the Pet Industry Federation (PIF) covers a number of specialist areas including pet retailers, manufacturers, groomers and boarders. This was the sixth year of the award.
Winning the award for Pet Service Business of the Year, is a fantastic achievement, with fierce competition in our category.
To be considered for the award, we were required to produce a 500 word summary of our business, covering a range of areas, including:
- Customer service and satisfaction
- Health and safety
- Animal welfare
- Contribution to the local community
We also supplied a list of customers for the Federation to contact – a big thank you to everyone who provided feedback and helped us to win the award!

We are delighted with this recognition of our hard work. We have a brilliant team of caring professionals who have worked very hard to make the business the success it is today. We’d also like to congratulate all of the other award winners and runners up on their achievements.
As an added bonus, the award was presented by boxing legend Frank Bruno in a gala evening at Whittlebury Hall near Towcester on the 23 October 2014.

What happens next?
We feel strongly about setting high standards throughout our industry and have volunteered to help on the judging panel next year. We’ve also been introduced to Tim Wass MBE, the Chief Consultant at Animal Kind, an organisation dedicated to safeguarding animal welfare. We will be helping Tim and his team to draw up some national regulations for the industry, and we’re really excited to be getting involved with that!
